    At Running to Govern, we’ve hit upon a radical notion, that voters are ready for political leaders who - regardless of political party - craft meaningful plans for governance and present those ideas honestly and deliver on their promises.

    Our job is to help those candidates manage effective, transparent campaigns, win those contests and lead their towns, states, and districts toward smart solutions.

    Running to Govern seeks to recruit, train, support, and hold accountable a new generation of elected leaders who are committed to effective, responsible, governance.

    Effective and responsible governance is rooted in long-term planning and consists of intellectually honest solutions that are negotiated in good-faith. We do not take issue with partisanship, ideology, or politics; however, these things become problematic when they turn governance and legislating into a zero-sum game. RTG seeks to work with individuals who see beyond that zero-sum.

    We will recruit candidates who are committed to effective, responsible, governance.

    Each cycle we will recruit a cohort of young leaders and bring them together for individual and group development sessions.
